Preparation of a summary report on tourism resources and products with the greatest potential in the Pyrenees and the Lleida region.
The Challenge
A minor contract awarded by the Lleida Provincial Council Tourism Board requested that the Pax# technical team prepare a report summarizing and defining, in broad terms, the configuration of the inventory of tourism resources and products in the Pyrenees and the Lleida region, and their potential.
This report was to be based on a previously filtered inventory compiled by the Lleida Provincial Council Tourism Board of all the tourist resources and products available in the destination. In addition, all these attractions were assessed for their potential and/or appeal by the various tourism experts from the regional councils, which made it possible to rank the potential of the resources from highest to lowest.

The Process
Based on the inventory of tourism resources and products in the Lleida region and their scores, the Pax# team produced a 50–60 page report that concisely summarized the main characteristics and features of the existing tourism offering in Lleida. This document brought together the analysis, broken down by county, of the most notable inventory of each of the 13 territories that make up the region, as well as the analysis by product type, with a special emphasis on cultural, natural, gastronomic, sporting, and traditional offerings (fairs and popular festivals).
One of the most relevant aspects of this report was that it reflected the assessment received from tourism experts in each region of those resources and products with the greatest potential or appeal. In this way, it also offered a comprehensive analysis of the destination and a series of recommendations or strategic guidelines for the coming years.

Conclusion
This specific project was one of many product creation, promotion, and marketing initiatives that the Lleida Provincial Council Tourism Board has underway and carries out year after year. It served to organize and channel relevant information regarding tourism offers in the Lleida region.
